As the creator and host of this platform, I am deeply invested in the mission to explore, question, and present the myriad perspectives that shape our world. My name is Jamie Meyer, and this platform is the culmination of a journey driven by my passion for better understanding the profound complexities of life, society, and the human experience.

​n a world where so many voices are often silenced, overlooked, or dismissed, Nine Degrees of Perception is a space where we honour the richness of being human. It is my firm belief that the more we embrace our humanity—the contradictions, the imperfections, and the diversity of human experience—the more we unlock our collective potential. This platform invites you to step deeper into that understanding, to challenge the very constructs of our cultures and societies, and to celebrate what it means to truly be human.

Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a desire to break free from conventional thinking and explore ideas that challenge the status quo. Nine Degrees of Perception was created to shine a light on voices and perspectives that often go unheard, and to offer insights that force us to reflect more deeply on ourselves and the systems we inhabit. It’s about understanding the inner workings of our world—about unraveling the assumptions, beliefs, and ideologies that shape the societies and cultures we live in. By giving a platform to these ideas, we provide our audience the chance to engage with content that questions and redefines their understanding of who we are and how we coexist.

However, it is important to note that the presence of content on this platform does not necessarily reflect my personal beliefs, the stance of Nine Degrees, or Jamie Meyer Enterprises. Each guest and speaker brings their unique viewpoint, and by offering these perspectives, we are not endorsing or aligning with every idea shared. Instead, we are embracing the importance of dialogue, exploration, and curiosity. Our aim is to provide equal exposure to a wide range of ideas, so that you—our audience—can sift through them, ask questions, and ultimately come to your own conclusions.

I want to see us all embrace the complexity of our shared humanity. Our role is to foster an environment where curiosity and open-mindedness reign, and where each conversation contributes to a more profound understanding of the world and our place within it.

That being said, we are committed to creating a safe and respectful space for discussion. We will not condone hate speech, incitement to violence, or armed radicalisation in any form. This platform is a space for thoughtful dialogue, not for the propagation of harm or division. Our goal is to encourage a broader understanding and acceptance of diverse viewpoints, without promoting harmful or violent ideologies.
